WE HAVE SNOW

I got up this morning to that cold that says we had snow over night, And we had. We get this odd snow this time of year. It’s more like gritty sugar than the real stuff that’s tiny tiny little bits that blow on the wind creating drifts. This stuff encrusts.

Oh, a dusting is always so pretty. What a nice sight to wake up to. Has it lasted the day?
My blog roll has NOT been keeping up with your new posts well at all. I didn’t realize the abbey had been posted until late last night, and then I fell asleep looking for the riddle! I’ll look again tonight.
    New car? Yours?

The reason why I didn’t go and get the really good camera at the latter end of last year. πŸ™‚

Nope, the snow is gone now. But the day has gotten even colder. This happens most years when a coldness comes that gets into ones very bones.
On the posts, I don’t know what’s going on. What I’ve noticed with Ed’s is I click on his blog in my bookmark and it will arrive to a post which may be more than a week old. I think no more of it. But then maybe a few days later, if I click on it and then open something else and forget it, then refresh later it sometimes turns out he’s gone and written four essays. Sage’s isn’t as bad, but there sometimes he has 20 comments on something there was no sign of an hour before.

Congrats! I can’t believe you didn’t shout, “I got a new car!” when I was obsessing over it last month. πŸ™‚ I’m going to make a guess by the look of its front end that it’s a Nissan? I hope you’re enjoying it.
Snow is definitely something that is pretty from afar. This winter has been hot for the most part here so I look at the mountains of it in the East with a little bit of jealousy, even of your dusting. But I know those dealing with it are so tired of it they can hardly even stand it. Plus, snow only looks pretty when you wake up in the morning, before anyone leaves for work and dirties it all up.
We were hit by a big storm this weekend and got some hail which was fun.

How the hell did you know it was a Nissan from that photo. Have you some sort of problem with car porn ? :-D.

On the snow. yeah, when we don’t have it for a few years you do kinda miss it.

Actually, I can’t keep most of them straight. In my search, I’ll see something driving down the street and think I like the look of it, but not have any idea what make/model it is. There are a few however that have their recognizable “thing”. Many Nissans have that rhombus tessalation in the grille with the circle emblem. So it was an educated guess. πŸ™‚

I’ve found WP is slow to update on Blogger.

I’m ready for winter to be over. We don’t even get the cold many do, but we did have some snow last week and there’s more (more likely freezing rain) forecast for tomorrow night. Ugh. It always looks prettier somewhere else, like in your photo. πŸ™‚

Yucky snow. I think there’s a point about 12 when it simply become a pest.
