    It looks like you’ve had a few pretty days this week. These are lovely. Is this near the same location as the last post? We all keep repeating it, but it’s a beautiful place you’ve got there. I could look at that bridge all day.

      Yes we’re getting a few really good days. Aye, it’s near enough. It’s the bridge across the Kings River at Kells. The king is a direct translation from the Gaelic, RĂ­. The last post is the Kilree. The place/settlement of the King.

    I would love to have views like these close at hand. Both are wonderful, but I’m drawn more to the first.

      The first is the north wall of the north nave of the Augustinian Abbey at Kells, Co Kilkenny. It was dissolved in the 1530 by Henry VIII. And a ruin since then.
      I like it’s simplicity and I was lucky to get the sun in that spot.
